Sifu Peggy - Parry and Punch- 2009
Sifu Peggy McRitchie has been involved in Chinese martial arts for over 35 years. Her first Martial Arts training was in the style of Shaolin Kempo, under the instruction of her father, a well known figure in the Chinese Martial Arts community, Patje Richard Kudding, Head Instructor of the Flying Dragon Institute.
She currently continues earnest study of the Yang Tai Chi & Choy Li Fut Kung Fu system under the direction of Grandmaster Doc Fai Wong and the Plum Blossom Federation.
An avid competitor, Sifu Peggy has over the years, won numerous 1st place trophies & medals in Black Belt divisions at Martial Arts events both local and national tournaments.
Sifu Peggy has been teaching for over 25 years and devotes her energy as Head Instructor of the Yang style Tai Chi, Parents & Kids Kung Fu, and the Women’s Self Defense & Fitness Programs.

Sifu Peggy is active, youthful and dynamic. STILL COMPETING, she is an inspiration to her students, and has earned the respect of the local Martial Arts Community.
Sifu Peggy’s professional background includes Palliative Care Nursing. She currently holds a part time position as a Volunteer and Community Development Coordinator with Hospice & Palliative Care MB.
She is kept busy with the many requests from organizations in the community and abroad, to facilitate workshops and seminars in both Tai Chi and Women’s Self Defense. There are a multitude of different organizations (big and small) that have started to implement self care as part of their Staff in-service & retreats.
Sifu Peggy also enjoys sharing her knowledge, passion and skills in promoting the importance of Self Defense & Awareness thru her Women’s Self Defense workshops. She has presented to women of all ages, in many different work places and organizations.
She is a great example in showing that you can start exercise at any age, and you should view this as a investment in your health!
