Gordon Y. has been training at Plum Blossom Kung Fu since 2004, and has achieved the rank of Junior Assistant Instructor. His weapon specialties include the three-section staff and red tassel spear. Spectators and competitors watch in awe when he wields the spear in tournaments. Gordon has also studied lion dancing, and can be seen playing the cymbals or under the lion head. He has performed both forms and lion dancing at various demonstrations and events. |

Charles A. has been a student under the direction of Tai Sifu since 1991. Charles is a Junior Assistant Instructor, and a Senior Student Practitioner in the art of Choy Li Fut Kung Fu. An outstanding coach, Charles shares his expertise with the Adult Beginner and Adult Advanced classes. He is an invaluable resource to Tai Sifu Neil in the Sparring and Full Contact Classes, as his insightful approach to teaching is both inspiring and motivating to all. His two most favorite Weapons to perform are the Twin Chain Whips and the Straight Sword/Gim. Charles continues to study Choy Li Fut Kung Fu with emphasis on Reality Based training and practical self defense applications. |

Nelson Y. has been training in Choy Li Fut Kung Fu since 2004, along with his brother Gordon. He is currently a Junior Assistant Instructor, and can be found helping with the Kids class, as well as with the Beginner and Intermediate adult class. His specialties include the double butterfly knives and the Chinese broadsword, and he plans to take up the “gim”, or Chinese straight sword. He has participated in everything including lion dancing, semi-contact sparring, tournaments, BBQs and has volunteered for many Plum Blossom events. Further to that, he is a Bare Knuckle Full Contact Competitor, and has competed in the prestigious Annual Guardian Challenge event. He is also a maintainer of this website. |

Jesse P. has been training at Plum Blossom Kung Fu since 2002. He is a graduate of our Kids program and has now achieved the rank of Junior Assistant Instructor. Jesse has assisted in instructing the Kids program for approximately three years now. He is competent in a wide array of weapons, most notably the three-section staff, which generally earns him a gold medal for his performance at local tournaments. Now a competitor in the Black Belt Divisions, Jesse loves to compete and never misses a tournament. He is also an experienced Bare Knuckle Full Contact Competitor, and has competed in the prestigious Annual Guardian Challenge event. Jesse is a very experienced member of the Plum Blossom Instructional Staff and has performed in numerous demonstrations and community events such as the Dragon Boat Festival and Chinese New Year’s celebrations. |

Eric W.has been training with The Plum Blossom Martial Arts Academy since 1999. He has an extensive history of martial arts training prior to his studies at PlumBlossom, training in Tai Chi, Kempo, Wing Chun Kung Fu and Karate. Further to this, he has extensive knowledge in Personal Training and Pilates.
He is currently the Senior student, or Dai SiHing in the Adult Tai Chi and Qi Gong Program. As an Assistant Instructor, he is an invaluable resource to Tai Simo Peggy, and shoulders many of the teaching duties. Knowledgable in all aspects of Yang Style Tai Chi, Dai SiHing Eric is renound for his mastery of the Tai Chi Tamo’s Cane and Yang Style Plum Blossom Fan. |

Dai SiJay Edna M. has trained with Plum Blossom since 2006. Edna also has fifteen years experience in other Tai Chi disciplines. Edna is a senior student and has been an Junior Assistant Instructor for approximately 1 year. She continues training in the Yang Style Tai Chi System. In addition, Edna demonstrates weapons forms at various Plum Blossom and community events. |
