Join Plum Blossom Team Awesome in supporting Winnipeg’s Palliative Care Community !!
Last year, Plum Blossom Team Awesome raised $1200.00! Let’s try and beat that number for 2009!
“Hike for Hospice”
When: Sunday, May 3, 2009
Registration 12:30 pm
Hike 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Where: Promenade, Canwest Global Park
What: Beautiful 5 km walk around Riverfront Drive. You can walk, run, skate, bike! Bring your family, walk your dog! Come out and get some excercise while helping “Plum Blossom Team Awesome” support a great cause! All Hikers who raise a minimum $100 will recieve a T-shirt. There are some great prizes to be won for Adults & Kids who collect the highest pledges. All Hikers will recieve free refreshments and Manitoba Pork will be there again serving delicious hot pork on a bun. Plum Blossom’s Lion Dance Team will be performing and there will be other entertainment as well.
How: Pick up your pledge form from Sifu Peggy and start collecting pledges, or you can donate a $20 flat fee. All pledge forms & money to be turned in to
Sifu Peggy by Thursday, April 30,2009.

All proceeds will stay in Winnipeg to support Hospice & Palliative Care Manitoba. We strongly believe that all Manitobans should have timely access to Palliative Care Education and End of Life & Bereavement Support Services.
